Welcome to Sparky’s Cantina, vegetarian, vegan, and allergy-free foods inspired by Chef Sparky, the little dog who loves to cook. Sparky was a rescued shelter dog, who now lends his talents to raise funds for Whisper’s Sanctuary, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit lifetime Sanctuary for unwanted and retired animals.
Sparky’s mission is to help spread the word of kindness to animals, and remind people that good food doesn’t have to contain meat. All income from Sparky’s Cantina is donated to the animals at the Sanctuary, for their food and health care expenses.
The Cantina mobile kitchen currently serves exclusively plant based foods & desserts most of which are gluten-free and also free of the top 8 allergens. We also offer vegan keto food & desserts. Look for us at special events in Sierra Vista, Sonoita, Patagonia,. and Tucson. If you’re planning an event, please contact us! We are available for special-event and private catering in Southern Arizona. Please inquire about our very extensive menu.
We do not use gluten, casein, dairy, egg, corn, soy, nuts, potato, sesame, or refined sugars in our allergy-free products. We source our GF rice flour and tapioca starch through Bob’s Red Mill. We are informed these products are certified GF, but may contain traces of soy, corn, and potato. Although some products contain certified gluten-free oats, oat-free products are available for our Celiac friends.
